Nice to meet you!
Hi there, I'm Zee, a Bulgarian-born girl that 10 years ago fell in love with the lush green of Great Britain and decided to move here.
Living in Brentwood and serving all Essex, my life is split between photographing beautiful families, spending time with my husband and my son, and baking sourdough bread (I have a top notch focaccia recipe if you're into this sort of thing...). My desire is to create timeless images which will convey the warmth, love and gentleness that we all feel as parents towards our children.

Get to know me
-
My full name is Zornitsa - a Slavic name meaning Dawning Star which I absolutely adore, but I go by its shorter version Zee.
-
When I have some free time on my hands, I'm always split between reading a good novel, baking bread or making a dessert. I love all three equally!
-
I love romanticising life and enjoying its beauty, and this has merged into my creative process.
-
My favourite movie of all times is "The Godfather". I truly believe it's the best family movie ever created and you can't convince me otherwise.
A trip down memory lane...
Photography has been a part of my life since I was 14. Back in my quaint hometown by the Bulgarian seaside, I would carefully scout locations and create photo shoots of friends and family. After graduating, I went to university to follow my passion and to further hone my skills by doing a BA degree in Photography. I had my training as a photo assistant to leading photographers, after which I led my own photoshoots in both Fashion and Advertising Photography. After being part of the fast paced world of commercial photography, I discovered that my true passion lies in capturing those special family moments. Going back to my creative roots and focusing on Family & Children Photography is something I had planned for a long time.
...and back to the present
After the birth of my son, I felt compelled to capture moments of his life in my own way - through creative photography. As I'm sure all parents feel, time with little ones goes by too quickly! You blink, and suddenly your baby is a toddler, your pre-schooler is starting secondary school, your teenager is leaving for uni. As a mother, and to be fair - as a person in general, I'm very sentimental about these important life stages and so as a photographer, I try to "freeze" them in time. Let's admit it - we are all too eager to do the bedtime routine after a loong day with our children, only to find ourselves missing them and scrolling through their baby photos once they're asleep...
