I have to admit something...I'm totally in love with autumn. I know it sounds cliche in today's time of pumpkin spiced lattes and general autumn talk, but I have always loved loved this season. To me, autumn is a chance for a fresh start after the business of summer. It's when school starts in my home country which always felt like a new beginning - I got to pick a new backpack, new school clothes, new notebooks. It's the time to stay in, be cosy and spend more time with your family.
To add to that, I've always secretly wished that one day I would have an autumn baby. You know how sometimes you'd think "well this would be nice" but without giving it much consideration. Imagine my joy when V.'s due date fell in October - one of those things that feel like a little "gift" from the universe! So I thought it fitting to snap a few impromptu photos of my little autumn not-really-baby-anymore in one of my favourite shooting locations in Essex - RHS Hyde Hall.
