Random Fact Friday #2 - Gymnastics

First off, I have to say I love love love this photo of A. I am a total sucker for that beautiful golden light and if you wish to schedule your session with me during the "golden hour", I will love you forever.

Now on to this Friday's random fact. I used to do semi-professional gymnastics when I was little. Now, gymnastics is very big in Bulgaria - it's a sport we consistently win gold medals at. When I was 6, a gymnastics coach came to our school and invited all the girls to try out gymnastics as a hobby and a way to get some exercise in. I still remember the day we went to our first class - literally all of the girls from my school year had signed up, probably around 70+ girls. All of us! After a few classes, me and a couple of other girls were approached by the coaches and told that we are being moved up to the next stage. The classes were very intense - several times a week, many hours a day and I remember feeling absolutely exhausted by the end. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve for when I want to entertain somebody with my gymnastics past :)
